<propOperational> contains attributes which further refine the operational properties of an <ocp>.

• operationalType: This is a keyword that defines the operational function of this operating [control] point (ocp). Possible values are:

• station
  Station: a normal operating point in the railroad network with usually at least one switch and passing track(s) where trains may start, end, swerve/cross or turn.
  Bahnhof: ein gewöhnlicher Betriebspunkt im Bahnnetz mit üblicherweise mindestens einer Weiche und mehr als einem Gleis, wo Zugfahrten beginnen, enden, ausweichen/kreuzen oder wenden dürfen.
• stoppingPoint
  Stop: an ocp, without switches, signals or additional tracks, where trains stop e. g. for passenger exchange (sometimes they are allowed to turn for ending and starting too).
  Haltepunkt/Haltestelle: ein Betriebspunkt ohne Weichen, zugehörige Signale oder zusätzliche Gleise, an denen z.B. Fahrgäste in Züge einsteigen oder diese verlassen (manchmal wenden hier auch Züge).
  Hinweis: der deutsche Infrastrukturbetreiber DB InfraGO verwendet die in Österreich und der Schweiz gebräuchliche Haltestelle in einem anderen Zusammenhang, um die räumliche Verbindung eines stoppingPoint mit einem siding auszudrücken.
• depot
  Train stabling yard: a place in the rail network where locomotives, motor units or wagons are parked, cleaned or repaired, often connected to a filling station, washing facility or workshop.
  Abstellbahnhof/Remise: Bereich im Bahnnetz, an dem Lokomotiven, Triebwagen oder Wagen abgestellt, gereinigt oder instandgesetzt werden, oft verbunden mit einer Tankstelle, Waschanlage oder Werkstatt.
• crossover
  Crossover: a connection between two tracks of a double-track line or a change between single-track and double-track on a line, without the possibility of starting, turning or ending trains.

  Überleitstelle: eine Verbindung zwischen zwei Gleisen einer zweigleisigen Strecke oder ein Wechsel zwischen Eingleisigkeit und Zweigleisigkeit/Doppelspur auf einer Strecke, ohne Möglichkeit des Beginnens, Wendens oder Endens von Zügen.

  Junction: operating points outside railway stations where two lines joining/splitting where trains can transfer from one line to another line.

  Block post: a (mainly staffed) ocp with signals where the train spacing is monitored.

  Blockstelle: Eine (meist durch eine Betriebspersonal besetzte) Betriebsstelle (Zugfolgestelle), welche den Abstand der Züge beim Fahren im Raumabstand mit Signalen sichert.

• blockSignal
  Block signal: an ocp consisting of a block signal for train spacing only, mainly unstaffed and automated operating
  Blocksignal: ein Betriebspunkt, welcher nur aus einem Blocksignal für die Sicherung des Zugfolge-Abstands besteht und in der Regel ohne Personal und automatisch betrieben wird (im Zugleitbetrieb auch eine reine Zuglaufmeldestelle).
• siding (introduced with version 2.4)
  Siding: an ocp to collect and deliver of cargo wagons to build trains, but not for train operation
  Ausweich(anschluß)stelle/Anschlussgleis
• other:anything: Any value that does not fit any value from the previous enumeration list, fulfilling the constraint: at minimum two characters, whitespace is not allowed. Please, apply Dev:usingAny accordingly.

• trafficType: This is a keyword that defines the kind of traffic for this ocp. Possible values are:

• passenger the prevailing traffic occuring at this ocp is passenger traffic
• freight the prevailing traffic occuring at this ocp is freight traffic
• shunting the prevailing traffic occuring at this ocp is shunting traffic, e. g. in a depot or a workshop
• operational (introduced with version 2.4)
  The prevailing traffic occuring at this ocp is IM's internal traffic regulation (e.g. crossing or overtaking of trains; no use for passenger nor goods traffic)
  Der Zweck dieser Betriebsstelle ist die EIU-interne Betriebsführung (z. B. Kreuzen oder Überholen von Zügen; keine Nutzung für Personen- oder Güterverkehr).
• other:anything: Any value that does not fit any value from the previous enumeration list, fulfilling the constraint: at minimum two characters, whitespace is not allowed. Please, apply Dev:usingAny accordingly.

• orderChangeable: if true, the ocp is capable of changing the train sequence on the open track. That means that the ocp has at least one point.
• ensuresTrainSequence: if true, the ocp ensures and protects the train sequence on the open track. In other words: while the ocp is occupied by a train, a subsequent train may safely approach the ocp. The train sequence is protected. This is mostly implemented by a signal (e. g. a home signal or a block signal).
• remoteControlled: (introduced with version 2.5) specify whether the <ocp> is remotely controlled by a TMS or CTC.
• simultaneousEntry: (introduced with version 2.5) describes the pattern for a simultaneous entry into the <ocp>. Possible values are:

• yes Station is enabled for simultaneous entry
• no Station does not enable simultaneous entry. Train entry is strictly sequential.
• partial Station permits simultaneous entry in a limited manner, typically only for some, but not all, lines that enter the station
• other:anything: Any value that does not fit any value from the previous enumeration list, fulfilling the constraint: at minimum two characters, whitespace is not allowed. Please, apply Dev:usingAny accordingly.
