Glossary

This glossary will be used to define the terms and elements that are used in the use cases. Each entry shall give:

  • the definition as well as all rules and/or 'expectations' that are currently found in the railML Wiki
  • the definition in terms of the correct 'technical definition'
  • a list of references to other glossaries with similar terms (e.g. TAP TSI, Transmodel, UIC, etc.)
  • notes and open issues
  • ???

Background

The following list of terms has been identified during the last TT developer meeting in Berlin on 22.01.2016. In order to use these terms in the use cases we need a common understanding of the meaning as well as the intended use and/or interpretation of the data. For a general discussion please use the 'Discussion' entry at the top of the page.
