Semantics / Bedeutung

The elements <nationalSystem> contains the details for each installed train control and protection system except ETCS.

Jede Instanz des Elements <nationalSystem> beinhaltet die Daten zu einem installierten Zugbeeinflussungssystem mit Ausnahme von ETCS.

Attributes of nationalSystem / Attribute von nationalSystem

• id: Unique identifier which is used to refer to this particular item. This ID is always required for the item. It is inherited as a common feature from the type tElementWithIDAndName.

• name: A short name for the item can be given here, if wanted. It is inherited as a common feature from the type tElementWithIDAndName.

• description: In addition to a short name a more detailed description can be given here. This shall allow a short overview or hints to the contents of this dat set. It is inherited as a common feature from the type tElementWithIDAndName.
• trainProtectionMedium: This specifies the medium used for communication between the train and linside equipment. It can be one of the following 'none', 'mechanical', 'inductive', 'magnetic', 'optical', 'radio', 'rail' and 'cable'. The value 'none' is used if there is no train protection.

Dies gibt den Übertragungsweg für die Informationen von der Strecke zum Fahrzeug an. Zur Auswahl stehen 'none', 'mechanical' ("mechanisch"), 'inductive' ("induktiv"), 'magnetic' ("magnetisch"), 'optical' ("optisch"), 'radio' ("Funk"), 'rail' ("Schiene") und 'cable' ("Kabel").

• trainProtectionMonitoring: This specifies the way the train supervision works, i.e. 'intermittent' or 'continuous'. The value 'none' is used if there is no train protection.

Dies gibt die Art und Weise der Informationsübertragung von der Strecke zum Fahrzeug an. Zur Auswahl stehen 'none', 'intermittent' ("punktförmig"), 'continuous' ("linenförmig").

• softwareVersion: This is the version of installed software in the on-board unit as additional information.

Die Angabe der verwendeten Softwareversion ist eine Zusatzinformation.

• onBoardUnitID: This contains the unique ID given to a particular on-board unit, which is used for the communication with control centre.

Für die Adressierung bei der Kommunikation erhält jedes Fahrzeuggerät eine eindeutige Identifikation, unter der es von der Zentrale angesprochen werden kann.

Syntactic Constraints / Syntaktische Beschränkungen

The optional element can occur several times and is used once per installed system. If it is used at least the mandatory attributes id, trainProtectionMedium and trainProtectionMonitoring has to be set.
