<trackGroups> is a container that allows the definition of logically grouped tracks under various criteria. Examples for a track group can be:

  • all tracks belonging to a line
  • all tracks belonging to a locally controlled area
  • all tracks belonging to a station
  • all tracks assigned to an interlocking
  • ...
